AH&SF History
The Aruba Hospitality & Security Foundation was founded on June 1st, 2001 as an AHATA initiative! The Board of Directors composed of AHATA, ATSA, Aruba Police Force and Private Sector, with 9 committed parties in the public sector including hotel GM’s and SD’s.
AH&SF Vision
For Aruba to be recognized as the safest, most secure and environmentally friendly destination in the Caribbean.
AH&SF Mission
Through sustainable partnerships, develop and facilitate strategic initiatives which will achieve a safe, secure and environmentally responsible Aruba.
AH&SF Visibility Team
This team consists of KPA/CEA officers and VT security guards. The Hi-Rise team was initiated December 2002 the Low-Rise and Downtown team in 2004 and the San Nicolaas team in 2005. The program was intended to last 5 years and then be taken over by the Government.
